I never thought I would find myself in a hot tub with a group of strangers. But there I was, sitting in a swirling whirlpool of hot water, surrounded by people I had never met before.

It was all part of a writing workshop I was attending. The workshop was being held at a resort in the mountains, and on the first night, we were all invited to gather in the hot tub to get to know each other.

The next day, I started writing a memoir about my experience in the hot tub. I wrote about the people I met, the conversations we had, and the lessons I learned.
