Boot Covers
- Measure the circumference of your calf at the widest point.
- Measure the length from your heel to the top of your boot.
- Add 2 inches to both measurements for seam allowance.
- Cut two pieces of fabric according to the measurements you took in steps 1 and 2.
- Place the two pieces of fabric right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a 2-inch opening at the top.
- Turn the boot covers right side out and insert them into your boots.
- Fold the top edge of the boot covers down and sew it in place.
Shoes
- Measure the length and width of your foot.
- Add 1 inch to both measurements for seam allowance.
- Cut two pieces of fabric according to the measurements you took in steps 1 and 2.
- Place the two pieces of fabric right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a 2-inch opening at the back.
- Turn the shoes right side out and insert them onto your feet.
- Fold the top edge of the shoes down and sew it in place.
Tights
- Measure the length from your waist to your feet.
- Add 2 inches to the measurement for seam allowance.
- Cut a piece of fabric that is twice the length you measured in step 1 and the width of your hips.
- Fold the fabric in half lengthwise and sew up the sides.
- Insert the tights into your legs and pull them up to your waist.
- Fold the top edge of the tights down and sew it in place.
